Started in 2016, EMD Interactives began as small firm that offered design-engineering services to individuals and companies. Due to overwhelming demand, the company quickly transformed and grew to better serve their customers by offering manufacturing services. In 2017, EMD Interactives relocated to a 6,700-square foot facility and added a computer-controlled router, woodworking equipment, a paint booth, and welding equipment to offer full fabrication services.
In the interim, EMD Interactives brought on new staff to broaden their business. The company is now able to offer concept design services as well as electro-mechanical design services.
Today, EMD Interactives is committed to offering full service design and fabrication for libraries and museums, as well as offering fabrication and finishing services for restaurants and those in need of custom casework.
At EMD Interactives, we look forward to continuing to grow with our customers for many years to come.
David has been a Mechanical Designer for 10 years and a CAD/Mechanical Design instructor at Columbus State Community College for 6 years. His industry experience includes electro-mechanical machine design, sheet metal design, and project management for museum interactives. While his experience spans several industries, he found his true calling in children’s museum interactives and commercial millwork. David’s philosophy is that success is built through serving the client and their needs, which is the driving principle for EMD Interactives.
